It is through our exhibitions, scholarship, and public programs that we chronicle the triumphs, challenges, struggles, and successes of American Jews. We are committed to ensuring that these extraordinary stories--past, present, and future--are told, and that future generations may celebrate and learn from them.

You can make a tremendous impact on the Museum by joining our Legacy Society. By making the Museum part of your estate plan, you will leave an extraordinary philanthropic, educational, and Jewish legacy, ensuring that this exceptional Museum, which means so much to so many, will continue to thrive for generations to come.

There are a number of ways to support the Museum through planned giving, including a:

  • bequest
  • living trust
  • life insurance policy
  • charitable trust
  • gift annuity
  • IRA, 401(k), 403(b), or pension

Planned gifts can truly be a “win-win” scenario for you and the Museum; they can enable you to enhance your income and reduce your taxes while also allowing you to support the Museum, including creating a fund in your name or in the name of a loved one.

Planned gifts can be as simple as including a bequest provision for the Museum in your will or naming the Museum as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or life insurance policy. Your planned gift, no matter the size, will help the Museum

For more information, please contact Cobi Weissbach, Director of Development, at 215.923.3811, ext. 131, or via e-mail at cweissbach@nmajh.org. And if you have already included NMAJH in your financial and/or estate plans, please let us know so that we may be sure to express our gratitude for your foresight and generosity!

"One of the many reasons that I chose to name NMAJH in my will was to honor the memory of my parents, Jack and Gert Golland, who made a wonderful Jewish home for my brother and me, and who impressed upon us the importance of guaranteeing a strong Jewish future."
- Elaine Golland, Legacy Society Member

"...each interaction our family has had with the Museum has affirmed to us the key role it plays in strengthening our family’s commitment to Jewish traditions, religious freedom, and the importance of inspiring in people of all backgrounds a greater understanding of our American Jewish heritage."
- Bryna Berman (2nd Generation Family Member), and Jordan Berman (1st Generation Family Member), Legacy Society Members

"In addition to my personal commitment to and involvement with NMAJH, my children and grandchildren have experienced the Museum and fully appreciate the value of knowing their history, the unique importance of their religion, culture, and traditions, and the obligation to continue moving this country forward by supporting institutions like the Museum."
- Joe Zuritsky, Legacy Society Member
