Blue Star Museums Program
* From Memorial to Labor Days, we additionally offer free admission to immediate family members (spouse or children) of active military personnel.

ACCESS Admission Program
Present your state-issued ACCESS/EBT card (along with valid photo ID) to receive $2 general admission for you and up to 3 family members or friends.

STAMP Teen Program
Any high-school teen living in Philadelphia can sign up here for a free STAMP Pass. Present it to receive free general admission.

Art-Reach
If you belong to an Art-Reach member organization, you can book deeply discounted visits to NMAJH directly through them.


GROUP RATES
Parties of 15 or more are eligible for discounted admission prices and other group options, when reserved in advance through our Group Services office.

The Museum is located in the heart of Philadelphia’s historic district, on the corner of Fifth and Market Streets,
across from Independence Mall and within view of the Liberty Bell.

Tuesday to Friday: 10:00am - 5:00pm
Saturday and Sunday: 10:00am - 5:30pm

NMAJH is closed Mondays, including most federal holidays, but we are open on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, 
Presidents' Day, Independence Day, and Christmas Day 


HOLIDAY CLOSINGS 

In addition to most Mondays, we are closed on the following holidays: 
  

Rosh HaShanah (first day) - September 21, 2017 
Yom Kippur - September 30, 2017 
Thanksgiving Day - November 23, 2017 
New Year’s Day - January 1, 2018 (a Monday, so we're closed anyway)
Passover (first day) - April 1, 2018

The Museum also closes early (at 3:00pm) on the following holiday eves: 

Erev Rosh HaShanah - September 20, 2017 
Erev Yom Kippur - September 29, 2017

Christmas Eve - December 24, 2017
Erev Passover - March 31, 2018

NMAJH is open on all other Jewish holidays, except if they happen to fall on a Monday.  
Any special openings for federal holidays are listed in the section above.   


SPECIAL DAYS DURING 1917: HOW ONE YEAR CHANGED THE WORLD

We are offering free admission on the following significant dates related to topics or people discussed
in the exhibition:

Thursday, April 6 – America’s entry into WWI in 1917
Wednesday, April 19 – Wake Up America Day, celebrated on Patriots’ Day in 1917 to boost war recruitment
Thursday, May 11 – Irving Berlin’s birthday (his draft card is displayed in the exhibition)
Thursday, June 1 – Louis Brandeis confirmed to the Supreme Court in 1916 (his judicial robes are displayed)
Wednesday, June 14 – Liberty Bell rung on Flag Day in 1917, promoting a national effort to encourage purchase of war bonds
Wednesday, June 28 – Treaty of Versailles signed in 1919, ending WWI

In addition, we will offer free admission on the first Friday of each month, from April-July.

As always, we will also be free on Independence Day, Tuesday, July 4.
